I fell in love with fashion as soon as I could speak. My journey began as the most opinionated child, sketching clothing designs on my desk and expressing myself through what i wore. I spent my school breaks taking classes at Mass College of Art in Boston, where I discovered that my talents lay not with a sewing machine but on the business side of the industry. I dreamed of one day living my own Devil Wears Prada life, turning my passion for fashion into a reality.

Creativity has always been a constant in my life. From excelling in art, photography, and digital design to writing my college essay about my love for presentations, I’ve always found purpose in expressing ideas visually and verbally. In my art classes, I focused on the power of photo editing and collages, blending Artwork I adored with photos I had taken myself. My passion for fashion grew as I realized how seamlessly it combined my two biggest interests—technology and creativity—into a path that aligns perfectly with my career goals.

During the COVID-19 lockdown, I enrolled in online courses at Parsons of Paris to deepen my understanding of the business of luxury fashion. These classes allowed me to learn from key industry players and work on innovative projects, such as designing a pitch for a sustainable pop-up store. Through this experience, I also developed a passion for upcycling clothing, transforming old or thrifted pieces into items to resell or re-wear.

At Tulane University, I’ve been fortunate to nurture both my interests. I’ve found creative outlets through freelance styling, walking in the annual fashion show, and leading as the President of Web for TU Fashion. I often joke that I spend more time planning my outfits than anything else, but in truth, fashion has always been more than just putting pieces together—it’s about creative self-expression. This philosophy has become a metaphor for my life: putting my unique spin on everything I do and staying authentic to my brand.

I’ve also found strength and passion in creative direction. Collaborating with CamAir Cases, I helped design a “Tulane”-inspired case, drawing from New Orleans culture for a marketing campaign tied to one of my articles. I’ve directed promotional photoshoots to boost engagement for my club, successfully improving visibility and audience interaction. Additionally, I led the Greenwood Skate campaign, “I Just Can’t Take Them Off,” where I directed a photoshoot and planned a launch event that seamlessly combined music, fashion, and immersive experiences.

My entrepreneurial spirit has driven me to co-found a startup, "LastCall," a bar-scheduling app, and create “Tech Sessions with Zoë” at Tulane to assist students and staff with technology needs, streamlining classroom productivIty. These experiences, along with my avid involvement in the campus fashion space, have reinforced my dream of making a name for myself in the fashion industry.

By combining my skills in technology with my love for fashion and its creative outlets, I hope to make a meaningful impact in this ever-evolving space.
